Here at Wantsum Brewery we brew a variety of different styles of Beer, which range from Pale Ales, IPAs, Golden Ales to Mild, Porters and Stouts, as well as some one off brews of special brews throughout the year.

Our Specials and Seasonal Beers

Hop Hoodening Ale – 4.2% ABV

Hoppy Festival Ale – Brewed Specifically for our friends the Wantsum Morris specially for their Hop Hoodening Festival, this is a Floral, Citrusy, Hoppy beer, bursting with flavour!

Grim Reaper – 5.5% ABV

A Ruby Red Rye IPA, brewed with Rye Malt to give this beer plenty of body and a light spice, combined with Fruity Chinook, Citra & Simcoe Hop *Available October – January*

Red Raddle – 5.0% ABV

Brewed to celebrate the 200th year of Crabble Corn Mill, this beer is named after the red paint used on the mill stones. A 5 Hop, ruby red premium bitter with biscuit and toasted malt base supporting a broad hoppy smooth finish. *Available October – Janurary*

5 Gold Grains – 5.0% ABV

A Golden Christmas Ale brewered with a selection of different grains to give this beer plenty of Festival Character as well as some Orange Peel to give the Beer a little Christmas Zing. *Available November – December*

Single Hop – 4.2% ABV

Available in different hop varieties throughout the year. A single hopped beer brewed to exemplify the unique properties of this hop variety. This beer is ochre in colour and has a smooth rich malt base.

Yellow Tail – 4.5% ABV

Spring Ale – The nickname used by the French for the indigenous people of Kent during the middle ages. A 5 hop spring ale, using New Zealand hops to create a sweet floral taste. This fruity ale is pale in colour, with mild malt flavours and a hint of vanilla. *Available June – August*

Hengist – 5.0% ABV

Millers Mirth – 4.2% ABV

Copper coloured, floral and spicy with a blend of smooth toasted malt.

Golgotha – 5.5% ABV

Place of the skull – named after an ancient burial ground and tunnel in Shepherdswell. A rich, deep and broad malt base gives this stout a very long smooth finish. Hops are prominent on the nose with blackcurrant, liquorice and cedar.

Figgy Pudding – 4.5% ABV

A light chestnut coloured bitter, with soft toasted malt flavours enhanced by the addition of figs and black sultanas blended with spicy and caramel nosed hops. *Available November – December*
