Description
Green Hop Ernest, this is our first experience with Ernest Hops which is described as a ‘New World’ Hop which for British Hops can sometimes struggle to stand alongside those Pacific Northwest & New Zealand Fruity, Juicy, Citrus Hops.
So we decided to keep this recipe simple to allow the Ernest Hops to shine through to achieve that we used Extra Pale Malt as the base as it imparts little flavour into the beer, Oats and Carapils Malt help add body and head retention to this beer.
Well we think this is the best Green Hop Beer we have ever produced, its full of flavour Apricot & Grapefruit, Ernest we salute you and you have certainly opened our eyes.
