Description
Named after the Thunderbolts, which flew for the USAF from RAF Headcorn (Kent) during WW2.
A delicious double dry hopped IPA, using Citra / Mosaic / Krush hops in the whirlpool, this beer was hopped very late to give a very gentle bitterness but maximum hop flavour. We also dry-hopped the beer with Krush hops to ramp up the aroma and flavour. You can expect flavours of Peach, Mango & Orange on the nose, followed through with tons of stone fruit in the mouth. We brewed this beer with tons of rolled oats & dextrin malt to give this beer plenty of body and a silky smooth mouthfeel.
